Babbo Natale brings together all the elements of an Italian Christmas. He is dressed in deep red rich robes, similar to those worn by the Roman Clergy. From his waist hangs an ornate cross and in his arms is a beautiful Nativity Scene surrounded by beautifully wrapped gifts. On his back, Babbo Natale carries a large basket filled with packages and gifts.
