Description

The teddy bear, named after Theodore Roosevelt, following an incident on a hunting trip, was manufactured in America in the early 1900’s. Teddy bears became a craze in the early 1900’s, carried around and cuddled by grown women as well as children of all ages. Christmas and teddy bears go hand in hand, as every child has probably had a bear at some time in his or her life. With many happy memories attached to the worn furry little body, comfort and joy are always to be found. Santa is traveling with a very special bear, his own mascot, dressed in a warm winter coat, boots, mittens and holding a magic Christmas wand. Santa will get lots of bear hugs this Christmas and the teddy bears he leaves under the Christmas tree will find their way into many loving little arms.
